International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated on March 8 every year. It is a focal point in the movement for women’s rights. IWD is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
The earliest Women’s Day observance, called “National Woman’s Day” was held on February 28, 1909 in New York, organized by the Socialist Party of America at the suggestion of Theresa Malkiel.
We at 3WC are happy to launch the platform as Women’s World on 28th February 2019 and will make it public on #IWD2019 i.e. 8th March 2019.
